Hello Friends,
Greetings from St. Louis! Yesterday, Jeremy Frank and I had the privilege of traveling to and attending the Call Day services at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.
I'm happy to share that Eddie Krez has been placed to serve with us at St. Lorenz! Eddie is the seminarian candidate the Call Team brought to the congregation a couple weeks ago, and whom we voted to extend a call to. We are thankful for the Lord’s provision and excited to welcome Eddie to our team as he prepares to transition to Frankenmuth.
We also want to again thank the Call Team for the time, prayer, and care they put into this process, helping lead us to Eddie.
Yesterday, we also learned that we will not be receiving a vicar this upcoming school year. We were somewhat prepared for this, knowing there were many congregations requesting vicars and a limited number of vicars available. While we would have loved to receive one, we trust God’s timing and provision for our ministry.
Please keep Eddie in your prayers as he prepares for this transition, along with his family and all those who received calls and assignments through Call Day. A video message is also attached, and I will follow up on Friday after I'm back with a few more details about this process and what it means for us next at St. Lorenz.
