Hello Friends,
Thank you for your prayers and support over the last six months as we've searched for an Associate Pastor of Outreach to serve with us and help lead our Community Outreach initiatives here at St. Lorenz. We’ve been trusting God to guide this process, and we’re grateful for how He continues to lead our Call Team and our congregation!
After much prayer, interviews with various candidates, and very candid discussions, our Call Team has identified one candidate they are recommending our congregation to consider calling. The candidate is a current student at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis who is set to graduate this May.
As we take this next step together, the Ministry Council is asking you to join us for a Voters’ Meeting on Monday, April 13th, at 6:00pm in the Worship & Event Center. At that time, we will present an overview of the process that led the Call Team to their recommendation and then vote on whether to extend the call to our Seminary candidate. We also plan to share a brief update on our “Together We Build” program.
This is an important moment for our church as we seek to follow where Jesus is leading us. We hope you’ll come, be part of the conversation, and continue to pray for God’s guidance for our future staffing.
Thank you for being part of this church family.
Your Brother in Christ,
Pastor Brad
